JP Dentofacial & Implantology center is one of the leading centers for dental, maxillofacial surgery and implantology in Thrissur, Kerala. Location:
Located in the main road from Thrissur to Palakkad , about 4km from Swaraj round , very convenient for transportation as bus stand and auto stop are just 50 meters from clinic. A pleasant white colored building with name of our team as an indicator. Our center is in the 1st floor of the building, a separate way with directions to make it easy for people to get into reception and waiting desk. Warm receptions with supporting staff to guide through are always available. The waiting desk is open aired with greenery surrounding it for a pleasant experience.
Infrastructure:
A well equipped center with 4 modern dental chairs within wide area to have a comfortable range of working space and privacy for each patient. Pleasant surroundings of our center adds on to the psychological benefit. Latest x ray equipment within the clinic makes it easy to assess the outcome within a short period of time. Intra oral camera with LCD monitor makes the sessions interactive to educate the patient regarding the condition and treatment to be done for the same.

Dr Philip Mathew the chief oral & maxillofacial surgeon in jubilee mission medical college & Research center, is a well experienced & an eminent surgeon with excellent surgical skills as witnessed by his patients. He is performing surgeries pertaining to head & neck since 20 years . Throughout his carrier he faced many ups and downs, but his perseverance and hard work lead him to a successful professional.
He completed his Bachelors degree in the school of dentistry in Davangeree in 1991. Later joined for post graduation in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and attained his Masters degree from the same college in 1995. After his post graduation he worked with Dr Varghese Mani, a renowned maxillofacial surgeon and a few other eminent personalities.
He joined in jubilee mission hospital in 1996 as a consultant maxillofacial surgeon and head of the dental wing. Started as a small wing in the hospital, owing to Dr Philip Mathews expertise and surgical skills, above all his cheerful and friendly nature now the department is well established with a daily op of 70 patients. JP DENTOFACIAL & IMPLANTOLOGY center was established in the same year.
Later he was associated with the Dept of Plastic Surgery, under Smile Train & Craniofacial scheme (Charles Pinto Center for Cleft lip and Palate & Craniofacial Surgery) where he is the chief oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who operates the cleft associated bony disorders.
His area of interest is Orthognathic Surgeries, cleft related bony disorders, facial asymmetry, trauma related secondary deformities of bone, rhinoplasty (Nose job), Distraction osteogenesis , Temporomandibular joint related disorders including joint reconstructions & Implantology.
On an average he performed about 1300 orthognathic surgeries approximately till date. The number of surgeries he performs annually is about 480.
He is an active member in the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons of India (AOMSI) and worked as Vice President for the same. Currently he holds the position of President Elect for Kerala Chapter AOMSI.
Recognized by AOMSI, he has an yearly intake of 1 post graduate for fellowship in Orthognathic Surgery under AOMSI fellowship programme.
Academically he has many publications in plastic surgery and maxillofacial journals.
Dr Jisha Philip , BDS

Senior Resident , Dental Department, Department of dentistry, Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research institute, Thrissur , Kerala.
Graduated from Bapuji dental college in the field of dentistry in 1995, she is working since then in the department of dentistry in JMMC&RI, Thrissur, Kerala. She currently holds the position of senior resident.
She is well experienced in general dentistry, cosmetic dental treatment and implantology.
She is a fellow in Implant and esthetic dentistry, conducted by Nobel Biocare.
She has been extending her best possible care since 20 years.
